We need a new Receptionist for our very busy East London Clinic. The role will cover Monday-Friday daytimes.  This is an exciting role which includes all the usual duties for a Veterinary Receptionist plus the added responsibility of making sure our clients receive the appropriate level of financial help from the Charity. Working with us you can have a direct impact on the lives of animals in East London whose owners are usually unable to find affordable treatment. You'll be responsible for building good relationships with our clients and dealing with the booking in, admission and discharge of their animals as appropriate. You will be IT literate and a confident user of Excel and have good financial intelligence. You will complete daily banking reconciliation with exemplary attention to detail, work well with other areas of the Clinic including the Vets and Vet Nurses and always be mindful of ways in which we can improve our services. You will have a helpful and willing attitude at all times, have high standards of politeness and show empathy for all our clients, whatever their problems. But you will not be a pushover as you may also have to deal assertively with some more challenging situations. The Clinic is very busy and we think it will be difficult to do this role without some previous experience of working in a veterinary practice. However if you don't have that background but feel this is the sort of job you have always wanted and believe your personal qualities will impress our interviewers, please do apply.  Send your CV and a covering letter (including an idea of the salary you are looking for) to This email address is being protected from spambots.
